Qualifications

  • Five or more years of progressive multifamily property-management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Spanish fluency is a plus.
  • Proven success leading teams and improving occupancy, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day property operations, including resident relations, maintenance, vendors, inspections, apartment turns, and property presentation.
  • Create a welcoming, service‑oriented environment and ensure resident concerns are resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain elevated standards throughout apartment homes, amenities, common areas, and exterior spaces.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, lease requirements, Fair Housing regulations, and applicable laws.
  • Drive occupancy, leasing, renewals, resident retention, and overall revenue performance.
  • Monitor traffic, pricing, concessions, conversion rates, delinquency, and competitive market conditions.
  • Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Review financial statements, forecasts, accruals, and monthly variances and take corrective action when needed.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Community Manager for a multifamily property based in the Orlando area. This highly visible, hands‑on role requires a polished leader who can deliver an exceptional resident experience while driving strong operational, leasing, and financial performance.

Resident Experience and Operations
  • Lead all day-to-day property operations, including resident relations, maintenance, vendors, inspections, apartment turns, and property presentation.
  • Create a welcoming, service‑oriented environment and ensure resident concerns are resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain elevated standards throughout apartment homes, amenities, common areas, and exterior spaces.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, lease requirements, Fair Housing regulations, and applicable laws.
Leasing and Revenue Performance
  • Drive occupancy, leasing, renewals, resident retention, and overall revenue performance.
  • Monitor traffic, pricing, concessions, conversion rates, delinquency, and competitive market conditions.
  • Ensure the leasing and move‑in experience reflects the quality and positioning of Vision on Lombard.
  • Maintain accurate leases, resident files, rent rolls, notices, and property information in Yardi.
  • Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Review financial statements, forecasts, accruals, and monthly variances and take corrective action when needed.
  • Partner with Property Accounting to ensure accurate reporting, reconciliations, resident ledgers, and operating statements.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, control expenses, improve efficiency, and enhance property value.
  • Recruit, coach, develop, and lead a high‑performing onsite team.
  • Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable for service, professionalism, and follow-through.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and corrective action.
  • Build strong collaboration across leasing, management, maintenance, and vendor teams.
Qualifications
  • Five or more years of progressive multifamily property‑management experience.
  • Experience managing a Class A, Class A‑, or elevated urban residential community strongly preferred.
  • Proven success leading teams and improving occupancy, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Hospitality‑minded, resident‑focused leadership style.
  • Excellent communication, judgment, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Yardi, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing and multifamily housing regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Spanish fluency is a plus.
