Job summary

Rapport, a specialized division of FLIK Hospitality Group and a member of Compass Group USA, seeks a Community Manager in NYC to maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere for clients and staff. This on-site role runs five days a week, delivering top-tier service and coordinating space reservations and events.

You will engage with visitors, support EMS reservations, and ensure spaces remain inviting, organized, and safe while contributing to a positive office culture and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred in hospitality or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in hospitality industry.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
• Ability to handle last-minute changes in a fast-paced events environment.
• Work with peers across departments with tact and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level internal and external customer support.
• Greet employees and visitors, welcome visitors with a smile, and assist with registering visitors.
• Assist in making space reservations using an online tool and escort guests throughout the office.
• Manage the access for visitors according to workplace standards.
• Create a collaborative environment amongst teams through events and introductions.
• Manage and support all functions in EMS – OMC Reservations Tool.
• Speak knowledgeably about the office, building, transportation, and local amenities.
• Ensure the cleanliness of all office spaces including open work areas, conference rooms, lobby, and kitchen.
• Set up incoming catering and breakdown catering events.

Job Summary

The individual in this role will be responsible for delivering the highest standards of service and consistently maintaining customer satisfaction, ensuring the space is optimized and running smoothly. This role is expected to be on‑site five days a week.

• Manage and support all functions in EMS – OMC Reservations Tool.
• Speak knowledgeably about the office, building, surrounding areas, transportation, local restaurants, and other points of interest.
• Ensure the cleanliness of all office space to include open work areas, conference rooms, lobby, and kitchen.
• Setup incoming catering and break down a catering event.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma /GED required, Associates degree in hospitality management, communications or other related field is preferred
• Minimum of 1‑3 years of experience in hospitality industry
• Proficient skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
• Ability to multi‑task; managing multiple projects and work assignment
• Ability to handle last‑minute changes in a fast‑paced environment with a high volume of events
• Tact in working with professional peers from other departments and all subordinates
