YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve and enhance our manufactured housing communities in Michigan. You will manage preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, and support new home delivery and set-up.

The role emphasizes safety, timely work orders, and strong teamwork with residents and vendors. Ideal candidates have a valid Michigan driver’s license and prior refurbishment or make-ready experience.

Qualificações

• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a PLUS.
• OSHA certifications or completed trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency in industry specific software products including the use of electronic devices/tablets.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain rental inventory through preventive maintenance, work orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris.
• Complete all work in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality or safety standards.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and resolve issues within the community.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Assist in new home delivery and setup; report warranty/follow-up work to management.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Attend all team/safety meetings.
• Uphold OSHA standards and maintain PPE as required by state law.
• Maintain safe winter road conditions through snow removal and de-icing when applicable.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles according to safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and residents.
• Work safely around pets, service animals, and wildlife.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
