Job summary

CCMC is seeking a Maintenance Associate to join our community management team in Gilbert, AZ. You will perform a wide range of routine and preventative maintenance tasks to keep facilities clean and safe, support event setup, and assist with guest check-in/out during rentals.

Ideal candidates have high school education, experience in electrical, plumbing and general maintenance, and are proficient with basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance is desired.
• Able to use ladders and lifts.
• Team player with pride in responsibilities and facilities.
• Experience in general maintenance and basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Self-motivated, observant with attention to detail; able to identify maintenance needs and rectify concerns.
• Effective communication with managers, residents, and peers; able to follow instructions and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance work from basic repairs to more complex tasks.
• Lighting checks, cleaning lenses, bulb and ballast replacements.
• Maintain and repair doors and locks.
• Caulking, prep work, and painting.
• Minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and furniture repairs.
• Plumbing maintenance such as repairing or replacing faucets and fixtures.
• Maintain limited access gates, storage closets, doors, and locks.
• Clean around pool, dumpster, and common areas; assist with rentals and check-in/check-out requirements.
• Set up and tear down for community events.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
