The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing property assets.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License (Class B CDL preferred). Other licenses vary by site and assignments.
Technical Skills: Ability to follow instructions, basic proficiency with Microsoft Office & internet, knowledge of automotive mechanics, electrical circuits, wiring, hydraulics, and relevant hand tools, basic water/wastewater operations knowledge.
Communication: Clear and professional communication, positive customer service, helpful attitude, maintains composure in challenging situations.
Problem Solving & Quality: Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, quality checks, escalation when needed.
Managing for Results: Works well under supervision, completes projects, follows policies and SOPs, manages multiple tasks.
Leadership & Initiative: Positive attitude, aligns with company values, accountable, takes on additional tasks.
Frequently lift 50-60 pounds, load/unload/move equipment, access confined spaces, walk, climb stairs and ladders.
