Job summary

Columbia Residential in Chattanooga seeks a Community Service Supervisor to oversee maintenance, repairs, and a team across multifamily and affordable housing communities.

You will manage a preventive maintenance program, safety compliance, and unit make-readies, while assisting with budget development and ensuring timely completion of work orders in collaboration with the Community Manager and Regional Service Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years related experience.
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and appliance maintenance.
• Ability to supervise a team and manage work orders.

Responsibilities

• Provides service to residents in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
• Establishes emergency maintenance on-call and daily work schedules for maintenance staff.
• Maintains safety procedures and on-site safety binder.
• Oversees repairs, unit make-readies, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Assists with budget development and cost control to meet goals.
• Coordinates with Community Manager and Regional Service Manager on status of work orders.
