Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors in Michigan is seeking Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventive maintenance, repairs in rental homes and facilities, and upkeep of grounds, streets, and amenities.

Responsibilities include inspecting irrigation, managing landscaping, assisting move-ins/move-outs, and ensuring safety and curb appeal. A valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 6 months of maintenance experience preferred.
• 6 months snow removal experience preferred (if applicable).
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair work.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-call schedule.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on homes and facilities.
• Maintain community grounds, streets, and common areas in clean, safe condition.
• Assist with move-in/move-out spot-checks and inspections.
• Operate hand tools, power equipment, and basic machinery as trained.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor and complete checklists.
• Assist with snow removal and seasonal outdoor tasks where applicable.
• Ensure curb appeal and safety standards are met across sites.
