Job summary

Woods Supermarket is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to plan, develop, and implement delivery routes to community partners. You will collaborate with the Community Relations Manager and store leadership to optimize regional logistics and ensure timely deliveries.

The role emphasizes communication, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with online and local business orders while supporting the sales strategy through efficient logistics and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be an excellent communicator and speaker both online in written interactions, and face-to-face guest service interactions.
• Basic mathematical ability and ability to count.
• Able to read and write English; read instructions, merchandise labels, warehouse order codes, numbers, reports, and invoices.
• Able to give/receive complex verbal instructions/descriptions to/from supervisors/co-workers regarding policy and procedures.
• Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Relations Manager with logistical planning.
• Plans, develop, and organize regional logistics for product delivery.
• Organizes community outreach programs that target local businesses and partnerships.
• Drive commercial sales through community partnerships.
• Build regional community contacts to expand outreach.
• Manage contact list for regional businesses and review to maximize profitability.
• Monitor online guest and commercial customer problems to ensure timely resolutions.
• Coordinate delivery for online orders and business orders, online or via phone.
• Work with merchandisers to fulfill online and commercial guest needs and search for requested products.
