Job summary

Wellvance Community Mental Health Authority in Michigan seeks a Community Living Support Substitute to help individuals build skills, gain independence, and thrive in their communities.

You will support based on Person-Centered Plans, teach daily living skills, assist with community inclusion, advocate for recovery, and maintain documentation. Flexible hours include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible schedules and travel within our service area.
• Valid Michigan driver's license, vehicle insurance, and a good driving record.
• U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Lived experience with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders is valued.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals build skills, gain independence, and thrive in their communities.
• Support individuals based on their Person-Centered Plan.
• Teach daily living skills like meal prep, budgeting, and personal care.
• Assist with community inclusion and social activities.
• Advocate for individuals and promote recovery principles.
