Job summary

Lord's Legacy Life Ministries in Nicholasville, KY seeks a friendly Community Living Supports Professional to accompany adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily activities outside the home. You’ll help build real-world skills and foster independence in the community.

This independent contractor role offers 30–60 hours per week, daytime hours with possible evenings or overnight, a $15–$22 hourly rate plus bonuses, paid training, and opportunities for advancement through

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Nicholasville, KY.
• Ability to communicate clearly and write brief daily notes in English.
• Available during the day; evening or overnight flexibility is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Take clients to grocery store, bank, or pharmacy.
• Practice real-world skills on the spot (e.g., counting change, reading menus).
• Volunteer with the person at food pantries or shelters.
• Accompany to classes, games, worship services, or clubs of the person's choice.
• Document progress with a short note.
