Job summary

Supportive Community Innovations is seeking dependable Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with disabilities in their homes and in the community. You will help clients learn daily living skills, participate in activities, and work toward personal goals.

Training is provided, and experience is welcomed but not required. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with full-time benefits eligibility at 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and valid driver's license, insurance, and vehicle registration
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
• Availability including days, evenings, and weekends as per client needs
• Comfortable working in clients' homes and community settings
• Ability to follow written plans and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in clients' homes and community settings
• Help clients develop independent living, communication, social, and community skills
• Assist with routines and personal goals
• Follow behavior support plans and clinical recommendations
• Document services accurately and on time
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and team
• Transport or accompany clients to activities and appointments
