Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore’s Gallagher Services seeks a Manager of Community Living in Harford County to oversee staffing, operations, and maintenance for group homes and programs. You will work with PCP Specialists to support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in living independently and with dignity.

The role requires on-call coverage, supervision of a team, and collaboration with state agencies, families, and day programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and 4 years’ related experience, with supervisory experience.
• Meets matrix requirements for level II.
• Knowledge of COMAR and HCBS Final Rule, waiver, and service definitions, as well as person-centered planning philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment in which people are valued and encouraged to develop their fullest potential following basics of individual rights and person-centered supports.
• Manage and direct a team of up to 10+, including recruiting new hires and conducting performance reviews.
• Develop, monitor, and coordinate staffing schedules with proper ratios.
• Swiftly manage on-call responsibilities to maintain seamless service.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary communications and attend PCP meetings.
• Complete 30-day reviews and maintain individuals’ files including care and appointments.
• Ensure incidents are documented and followed up in the Case Management System.
