Job summary

Easterseals seeks a Community Living Floater to assist individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities. You will provide daily supports, education and advocacy aligned with each support plan, ensuring services meet standards and funder requirements.

The role offers full-time hours with 12-13 hour shifts, 3-4 day work weeks, and opportunities for overtime, growth, and comprehensive benefits including PTO and retirement. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least one year experience providing direct supports to individuals with disabilities or group health care experience.
• Must have basic computer skills and be able to work with a variety of computer systems.
• A driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily assistance and supports for individuals with disabilities living in their home.
• Provide support, education and advocacy as outlined in the individual's support plan and ensure supports meet organizational guidelines, funder requirements and accreditation standards.
