Job summary

Easterseals invites applications for a Community Living Floater in Springfield, MO. This full-time on-site role provides daily assistance to individuals with disabilities and supports them to thrive at home and in the community.

You will work 12-13 hour shifts within 3-4 day weeks (Sun-Tue or Thu-Sat), with potential for overtime and yearly raises. The position includes comprehensive PTO, retirement, and health benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least one year experience providing direct supports to individuals with disabilities or group health care experience.
• Must have basic computer skills and be able to work with a variety of computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily assistance and supports for individuals with disabilities living in their homes and community.
• Deliver education and advocacy as outlined in the individual's support plan.
• Ensure supports meet organizational guidelines, funder requirements and accreditation standards.

The Community Living Floater provides daily assistance and supports for individuals with disabilities living in their home. This position provides support, education and advocacy as outlined in the individual's support plan and ensures supports provided meet organizational guidelines, funder requirements and accreditation standards.
