Job summary

Treasure House is seeking a Community Assistant to lead and manage resident life across shifts, focusing on safety, daily routines, and community inclusion. You will support residents in life skills and recreational programming while upholding professional boundaries.

Responsibilities include coordinating transportation, meals, and interactions with staff and families, and ensuring documentation of progress and concerns to help residents achieve independence and purpose.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 21+ years of age.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License and clean driving record with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Must clear full background check (including criminal history check and Motor Vehicle Report).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to residents in maintaining their daily schedules with morning, evening, weekend, and occasional night coverage shifts.
• Ensure resident safety by maintaining awareness of everyone’s whereabouts at all times.
• Help residents navigate internal and external concerns and relationships under supervision.
• Maintain professional boundaries and relationships with residents at all times.
• Ensure resident medication compliance by adhering to safeguards and procedures.
• Address and resolve emergencies with priority on resident safety and welfare.
• Prepare meals per planned menu and assist with cleanup as needed.
• Report issues to leadership related to residence, residents, employees, policies, and incidents.
