Job summary

East Bay Innovations in Oakland seeks a compassionate Community Living Assistant to provide 1:1 support to adults with developmental disabilities in home and community settings, promoting independence and meaningful engagement throughout Alameda County.

You will help with daily living activities, emotional support, light cleaning, meal planning, and safe mobility, working across North County communities with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Providing emotional support and companionship to clients.
• Getting exercise and walking around the neighborhood with clients.
• Doing arts and craft projects with clients.
• Joining Zoom events and staying connected with friends and loved ones.
• Meal planning and cooking meals for clients.
• Light cleaning around clients' homes.
• Assisting with personal and intimate care as needed (bathing and toileting).
• Assisting with wheelchair lifts and transfers.
• Grocery shopping and other errands for clients.
• Using delivery or pick up services for supplies.
