Compensation

from $16.25 - $17.25 / Hour (based upon experience)

Position Details

Part Time Day: 9:30am - 3:30pm; Rotating weekends and holidays

Role Overview

The Community Life Enrichment and Activities Assistant is responsible for planning and leading programs that bring purpose and meaning to the lives of residents or short-term rehabilitation guests. This position aims to engage people to live their best lives and enjoy their day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to interpret instructions (written and verbal)
• Strong customer service skills
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team
• Creative thinking and a positive attitude

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Lead resident activities (arts, crafts, dance, music, exercise, brain games, and sensory stimulation)
• Perform timely documentation
• Keep clinical staff updated on changes to resident condition
• Safely transport residents to programs
• Encourage residents to participate in scheduled events
• Arrange physical environment in preparation for activities to ensure safety
• Create a welcoming and festive environment for residents
• Promote and support a culture of patient-centered care and service
