Job summary

Qualifications

• MLS in Library Science (ALA-accredited) or in-progress with degree to be completed within four months
• One year of full-time customer service experience showing empathy, good communication, and problem-solving
• Two years of full-time experience designing, planning, and making educational activities for adults in a learning environment

Responsibilities

• Assist adults, teens, and children at multiple locations with library resources and guidance
• Plan, coordinate, and promote programs such as book clubs, story times, and homework help
• Lead Innovation Lab and Maker Space activities for various age groups
• Provide reader's advisory and reference services to library patrons
• Prepare reports and statistics on library activities and program outcomes
