Job summary

The Allentown School District is seeking an ELECT Community Liaison/Reintegration Specialist to lead the ELECT model within the district. Starting salary is $41,645, with responsibilities including program implementation, community engagement, and inter-department coordination.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, five years’ experience in schools or with families, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, early childhood education, counseling, social work or related field.
• Pennsylvania teaching certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently and interact well with others, with timely reporting.
• At least five years' experience in a school system or with families and young children.
• Home visiting experience preferred.
• Proficient in Google and Microsoft Office programs, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Satisfactory work record and clearances (Acts 34, 114, 151).

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of the ELECT model program within Allentown School District.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and leaders.
• Demonstrate commitment to the ELECT program's philosophy, vision and mission.
• Monitor fidelity of the ELECT Program across the district.
• Oversee recruitment or participation in centralized intake.
• Manage ELECT program referrals and related expenses within grant guidelines.
• Complete grant reports and ensure staff use required data systems.
• Collaborate with administration, staff, students, families and volunteers.
• Facilitate monthly staff and Family Center Governing Board meetings.
• Coordinate communication between ELECT and Family Center programs to avoid duplication.
