The Community Liaison represents the facility to the community, interested individuals, and potential referral sources within the designated market area. They assist in organizing and implementing the marketing plan, and support the Director of Business Development in project development and coordination. The role involves daily travel within a defined geographic territory—Alabama and Tennessee—to meet with primary referral sources, including hospitals, clinics, pediatricians, rehabilitation centers, psychiatrists, psychologists, and other community resources.
The Community Liaison must stay current on major competitors in the market and service catchment area, and be comfortable with cold calling potential referral sources. Travel is required for approximately 80% of the role.
