We are hiring a Community Liaison to support community relations and referral development in Alabama and Tennessee.

About Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents

Cumberland Hospital, located in New Kent, Virginia, provides comprehensive medical, residential, and psychiatric treatment for children and teens with co-occurring medical and behavioral diagnoses. It is one of the few specialty children's hospitals offering dual treatment protocols for both medical and mental health issues.

Qualifications

The Community Liaison represents the facility to the community, interested persons, and potential referral sources within the designated market service area. They assist in organizing and implementing the marketing plan and support the Director of Business Development in project development and coordination. The Community Liaison performs local marketing functions as assigned and involves daily travel within a defined geographic territory to meet with primary referral sources, including hospitals, specialty clinics, pediatricians, inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation centers, psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health professionals, and other community resources. They must stay current on major competitors in the market and service catchment area. The role requires experience and comfort with cold calling potential referral sources. Travel is required for approximately 80% of the role. This position covers Alabama and Tennessee.
