Job summary

A First Name Basis Home Care in Charleston, SC is seeking a driven Community Liaison to build relationships with case managers, property managers of low-income senior housing, clinics, and other community organizations.

You will deliver in-service presentations, expand our outreach in the Lowcountry, identify leads, and creatively use marketing funds to educate potential clients while traveling regionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in marketing, sales, or community outreach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet weekly/monthly goals.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with Medicaid/Waiver services is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to travel within the Charleston Lowcountry.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain connections with case managers, property managers, clinics, senior centers, and other community organizations.
• Perform 7–10 in-service presentations weekly, each lasting about one hour, to educate potential clients and partners.
• Focus on Medicaid-eligible individuals needing ADL assistance.
• Identify and secure 20–25 qualified leads monthly and manage the pipeline from contact to active clients.
• Use monthly marketing budget to organize engaging activities to educate potential clients.
• Develop strategies to reach target clients and expand the regional network.
• Travel within the Lowcountry to ensure broad outreach.

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Community Liaison to support our Charleston, SC market.

Position Summary

The Community Liaison will focus on building relationships with case managers, property managers of low-income housing for seniors and individuals with disabilities, as well as clinics and other community-based organizations across Charleston and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong connections with case managers, property managers of low-income housing communities, clinics, senior centers, and other community organizations.
• Perform 7–10 in-service presentations weekly, each lasting approximately one hour, to educate potential clients, case managers, and community partners.
• Focus on reaching individuals with Medicaid who need assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Identify and secure 20–25 qualified leads each month by collecting necessary client information (names and phone numbers) and manage the entire pipeline from initial contact through conversion into active clients.
• Utilize your monthly marketing budget creatively to organize engaging activities, such as providing food, hosting bingo, or planning other activities, to educate potential clients.
• Develop and implement innovative strategies to effectively reach target clients and expand our network in the region.
• Area Coverage: Travel within the lowcountry to ensure widespread outreach.

Requirements

• High school diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Proven experience in marketing, sales, community outreach, or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and think creatively to solve challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet weekly and monthly goals.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
