Position Overview

The Community Leasing Manager oversees leasing and marketing at their site(s), manages lease administration, implements marketing plans, and supervises leasing staff on-site.

What You Will Do

Leadership and Staff Management:

  • Lead and develop leasing staff
  • Provide training and performance support

Marketing & Reporting:

  • Develop strategies, organize events, oversee marketing efforts
  • Ensure timely leasing and marketing reports

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and legal standards
  • Maintain property presentation standards

Special Projects and Reporting:

  • Collaborate on projects with Property Manager
  • Complete HR and operational tasks

Other Requirements

  • Work on-site full shift, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Assist with move-outs, turn, move-ins beyond normal hours
  • Lift/move objects up to 50 pounds; perform physical tasks as required

Ideally, you'll have

  • High School diploma; college preferred
  • 2+ years in property management or related fields
  • Leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Office, Windows, and Apple systems

Preferred Experience

  • Leasing in student housing
  • Social media marketing and content creation
  • Design tools like Canva
  • Entrata or similar property management software

Organizational Structure

Reports to: Community Manager

Direct Reports: Leasing Associates and Community Concierges
