Job summary

United Way St. Lucie & Okeechobee is seeking an Expanded Learning Coordinator, Community Partnership School to coordinate and integrate programs and services for students and families.

You will connect with community resources, develop partnerships with social services, and produce deliverables like directories and data reports. You will work with staff and volunteers, manage referrals for students, and help create after-school activities while ensuring confidentiality and effective

Qualifications

• High School Education required; Associate's degree preferred if experienced in a school environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a school environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with Saint Lucie County social service organizations, students, families and the community.
• Handle confidential information appropriately.
• Demonstrate strong organization and excellent written and communication skills.
• Show passion and commitment to helping all students succeed.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Apply knowledge of student support programs and community prevention services.
• Create new after-school activities and initiatives with the Core team and community.
• Collaborate with adolescents, families, professionals, and diverse backgrounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
