Job summary

Volunteers of America, Utah provides community-supported paths for those in need. This Full Time position at Creekside Stabilization Center focuses on food preparation and service operations to support daily meals.

You will work under the Program Director and VOA staff to maintain a clean work area, follow food safety procedures, and assist with meal prep, packaging, and delivery of prepared meals onsite and offsite.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow food safety, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Strong communication with diverse workforce, clients, and the public.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be at least 21, possess a current driver’s license and have a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots and pans.
• Stack dishes, cups, and silverware.
• Remove trash and sweep/mop floors.
• Set up and maintain food items; monitor temperatures.
• Assist with meal prep and transport meals prepped offsite.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to guests.
• Attend work regularly and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
