The Arc Prince George’s County is seeking a Community Integration Specialist Supervisor to oversee a team of Community Integration Specialists. You will supervise staff, manage PCP processes, and support individuals with IDD in gaining independence and community inclusion.

The Community Integration Specialist Supervisor reports directly to the Program Administrator (or designee); Community Integration Specialist Supervisors (CISS) are responsible for oversight of a team of Community Integration Specialists (CIS). In addition to oversight, a CISS performs a wide variety of person-centered supports and services with a strong emphasis on personal choice of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The CISS develops and assists with the person-centered planning process, transports persons supported to and from home and activities, supervise, and implement daily program activities and community experiences. The CISS conducts community and employer outreach activities. The CISS will also carry a caseload, and are responsible for training of staff on their team. The CISS oversees timely completion of the annual Person-Centered Planning meeting and any additional meetings as needed, and ensure any follow-up from the meeting has been completed. The CISS also oversees documentation, activities and other assigned service related functions. The CISS is responsible for ensuring that all service documentation is in compliance with current regulations and quality assurance standards, as well as are completed promptly by those under their oversight; will act as Program Administrator when they are unavailable. Also provides the necessary support for the persons we support to achieve their desired lifestyles and increase levels of independence, productivity, and social/physical inclusion into the community.
