Job summary

Mosaic in Beatrice, Nebraska, seeks a Community Relations Manager to lead local outreach, build partnerships, and strengthen donor relations. The role emphasizes event coordination, volunteer mobilization, and effective storytelling to advocate for the organization’s mission.

You will engage faith groups and the broader community, travel locally for events, and collaborate with teams to drive fundraising and awareness efforts. This is a full-time exempt position with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in PR, Marketing, Communications or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years in PR, fundraising or community relations; grant writing and volunteer management preferred.
• Excellent relationship-building, public speaking, social media management, event coordination and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Outreach & Awareness: Develop community awareness plans, build partnerships, and showcase Mosaic's work.
• Volunteer & Church Relations: Recruit and direct volunteer teams while fostering connections across the local faith community.

• Organizational Dynamo: Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively.
• Adaptable & Mobile: Travel locally and work flexible hours for community events.

How You'll Make a Difference
