Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Community Outreach Consultant to develop and manage outreach strategies, initiatives and events in Bloomington, Indiana. This onsite role focuses on aligning outreach priorities with community needs and collaborating with hospital partners and community organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 5-7 Years of Experience.
• Ability to work in a complex business environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, background managing program/event logistics.
• Experience in managing program/event logistics preferred.
• Experience designing and facilitating training adults and presenting to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with under-served and/or high risk populations at a macro level.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the execution of community outreach strategies, initiatives and events that align with IU Health community outreach priorities, in meeting the identified needs of the communities.
• Coordinates and collaborates on internal and external community initiatives and team member volunteer programs.
• Identifies best practices and implements programs in coordination with hospital partners and community organizations, and reports on programmatic impact.
• Trains team members on system measures and metrics, processes and reporting.
• Develops strategy and business processes. Manages multiple initiatives.
