Job summary

NASCAR IMPACT is seeking a passionate and highly organized Coordinator, Community Impact to support initiatives that strengthen communities, engage youth, empower employees through volunteerism, and honor military and veteran communities.

In this role, you will coordinate community activations, manage nonprofit partnerships, support employee engagement opportunities, and deliver impactful race-weekend experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1–2 years in community relations, CSR, nonprofit partnerships, or events.
• Experience with nonprofit partners, employee engagement, or program management.
• Strong project management with multiple programs and priorities.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of NASCAR's community impact strategy, focusing on youth, employee volunteerism, and military programming.
• Coordinate and execute community activations across race markets and national initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams, race tracks, nonprofits, and external partners to deliver programs and events.
• Support STEM education, sustainability, and social responsibility initiatives.
• Lead planning and execution of race-weekend activations with Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
• Manage participant experience logistics, travel, scheduling, speaker engagement, and on-site operations.
• Develop NASCAR-themed programs with local Clubs to engage youth.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact during youth-focused race weekend experiences.
• Coordinate employee volunteer programs from planning through execution.
• Manage registration, communications, event logistics, and volunteer engagement.
• Support growth of volunteer initiatives and employee engagement.
• Support military and veteran partnerships through coordination and engagement.
• Assist with planning and relationship management for veteran initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with nonprofit, education, community, and corporate partners.
• Collect program metrics and activation data to measure impact.
• Develop presentations, event recaps, planning documents, newsletters, and internal communications.
• Support storytelling that highlights NASCAR's community commitment nationwide.
• Travel: 25-30%, including weekends.
