Community Housing Opportunities Corporation (CHOC) strengthens affordable housing communities by providing resident-driven programs and services that support housing stability, self-sufficiency, and quality of life for low-income youth, families, seniors, and households with supportive needs. Through CHOC’s Community Impact Division, residents have access to programs focused on housing stability and resource navigation, education and employment, health and wellness, youth development, senior services, and community engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in nonprofit management, community development, program evaluation, fundraising, communications, public administration, or social impact who wants experience building the systems that help community programs grow and remain sustainable.
This is a hybrid position serving CHOC communities in Sacramento and Yolo Counties in Northern California. The VISTA must reside within reasonable commuting distance of the Sacramento/Yolo region and be available for in-person service approximately 1–2 days per week. This is not a fully remote position.
