Commonwealth Senior Living in Front Royal, VA is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment across the community. The role supports daily operations under the Maintenance Director and involves routine cleaning, trash removal, and linen laundering as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions with established procedures as assigned.
• Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies.
• Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing and disinfecting.
• Clean carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Clean and polish furnishings in hallways, stairways and elevator areas.
• Clean resident rooms including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Collect all trash from rooms, offices, lounges, and bathrooms daily.
• Report any needed repairs to maintenance personnel or Executive Director.
• Keep housekeeping equipment and storage areas clean and uncluttered.
