Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain the interior of the community, including residents’ apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion.

Responsibilities include general housekeeping, deep cleaning, linen management, and basic server duties such as greeting residents, taking meal orders, serving meals, and assisting with trays and table resets. Strong English communication and sanitation knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping: Provide general housekeeping for the Community and resident apartments, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning common areas.
• Housekeeping: Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change linens, turn mattress with assistance, and maintain linen supplies.
• Housekeeping: Perform deep cleaning of apartments as needed, focusing on entry areas, carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures.
• Housekeeping: Launder all linens in the provided facilities.
• Follow Company sanitation and safety procedures.
• Server: Greet residents and guests, serve beverages, cereals, and soups/salads from the cart; clearly present the menu and take orders.
• Server: Deliver meals, trays, and assist with storage of perishables; bus and clear dishes, reset tables, and perform side work (sugar, creamers, coffeemaker).
• May perform other duties as needed.
