The County of Riverside is seeking a Bilingual Community Health Worker/Promotore to join our team. We are currently recruiting for multiple Community Health Worker/Promotore I and II positions to support our Family Resources located throughout Riverside County. Incumbents will be responsible for driving throughout Riverside County to attend various event fairs, representing and offering programs across the region. In this vital role, you will connect with community members to help them access essential health services and resources, including assistance with health program applications.
Your responsibilities will include conducting outreach and interviews to assess community needs while providing tailored support to individuals and families, particularly in underserved populations. Certain assignments may require evening and weekend availability.
Competitive candidates should possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of health programs. Experience in community outreach or high-volume case management is preferred. You will serve as a critical link between the public and health/social services, working alongside an interdisciplinary team to promote health and well-being. This position requires the ability to document client interactions and track follow-up actions effectively. Minimum Qualifications:
Bilingual (Spanish) required - read, write, speak
