Job summary

Cardinal Health Community Health Center is seeking a highly motivated retail pharmacist to support our health center operations. The role involves immunizations, patient counseling, and medication therapy management to serve community patients.

The position requires a PharmD or Bachelor’s in pharmacy with active state licensure, immunization certification, and a flexible schedule to cover M-W and weekend shifts at our West Cecil Community Health Center location. 340B experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Immunization Certification or willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
• Pharmacist registration in the state where the position is located.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and provide customer service.
• 340B experience preferred.
• Vendor credentialing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications under supervision and ensure safe delivery to customers.
• Maintain open communication with customers and practitioner sites for consultation.
• Supervise technical staff and coordinate workflow with technicians.
• Ensure compliance with 340B contract pharmacy best practices.
• Provide professional consultation to patients and prescribers at partner health facilities.
• Complete pharmacy operations by directing technicians and verifying orders and labeling.
