Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a community-focused Pharmacist to join the Progressive Community Health Center in Milwaukee, WI. You will dispense medications, counsel patients, immunize, and support high-risk patients under supervision of the pharmacy manager.

Qualified candidates hold a PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy with state licensure, immunization certification, and ability to work a flexible schedule while supervising technical staff and coordinating with prescribers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Pharmacist registration in the state of employment.
• Immunization Certification or willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and customer service skills.
• Vendor credentialing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and ensure safe, efficient delivery to customers.
• Maintain open communication with customers and practitioners for consultations.
• Oversee and supervise technicians within the workflow.
• Provide professional consultation to patients and partner health facility prescribers.
• Complete pharmacy operational requirements: verify orders, charges, and inspections.
