Douglas County Visiting Nurses seeks a Community Liaison to serve as the bridge between the agency and the community, promoting Home Health and Hospice programs while upholding high standards of care. The role involves advising on community needs, developing programs, and representing VNA at events to build relationships with referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, and civic organizations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, with a Bachelor's degree and marketing

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or completion of GED.
• Bachelor's degree with minimum of one year experience in marketing OR minimum of three years' experience in development, events, marketing and public relations, preferably in health care or not-for-profit.

Responsabilités

• Development and promotion of Home Health and Hospice programs and services.
• Provides counsel to the agency regarding community needs; program development including personnel and financial needs.
• Collaboratively develops and maintains policies for new programs.
• Ensures compliance with laws relating to marketing of Home Health and Hospice.
• Assists in directing programs through collaboration with administrative and supervisory personnel.
• Partners with Interdisciplinary Group/Team to support patient/family care.
• Establishes relationships and promotes VNA to referral sources, physician practices, hospitals, and community groups.
• Represent VNA at community activities and events to promote agency initiatives.
