Job summary

Qualifications

• Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• If you have an active temporary practice permit, you must obtain RN licensure within one year.
• You must meet PA residency requirements.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Disease surveillance: oversee investigations of reportable diseases.
• Clinical leadership: direct and perform clinical practices supporting community health services.
• Program planning: plan and manage public health services, emergency responses, and community activities.
• Community partnership: guide staff to collaborate with community agencies, schools, hospitals, and councils.
• Staff supervision: lead, train, and evaluate staff to maintain a competent workforce.
• Program monitoring: monitor health programs and assess data for improved outcomes.
