Job summary
WAFCC Perry Family Clinic AmeriCorps is seeking volunteers for the 2026 program year to support Perry Family Free Clinic’s mission by improving access to healthcare for underserved residents in Dane County. You will connect residents to healthcare, assist with registration, provide health education resources, and participate in community outreach and screenings.
This role emphasizes confidentiality, collaboration with social workers and community partners, and adherence to AmeriCorps

- Ability to work with underserved communities.

- Respect confidentiality and professional conduct.
Responsibilities
- Connect underserved residents to healthcare via outreach and referrals.
- Assist with patient registration, intake, appointment coordination, and navigation.
- Provide health education resources and facilitate community health screenings.
- Support outreach events and volunteer activities.
- Maintain records of services and protect confidentiality.
- May transport patients in agency vehicles.
- Communicate with supervisors and comply with AmeriCorps requirements.
