Job summary

Indian Health Service seeks a Dentist to provide comprehensive, patient-centered dental care for American Indian communities. You will diagnose, treatment plan, and perform restorative, endodontic, periodontic, prosthodontic, and surgical procedures, including emergencies, while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from an ADA/CODA-accredited school.
• Current, full, unrestricted dental licensure in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and emergency dental services.
• Evaluates and manages complex dental conditions and coordinates care with medical providers.
• Delivers patient education, prevention, and post-treatment care, addressing diverse cultural and socioeconomic needs.
• Provides consultation and guidance to healthcare providers and dental staff on dental health issues.
• Maintains clinical records, participates in quality improvement and infection control activities, and supports program operations and committees.
