Job summary

In Flight, Inc. is seeking compassionate individuals to join its Community Habilitation program as Direct Support Professionals (DSP). You will work one-on-one with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities, providing home and community support to build independence and life skills.

Position is per diem, with cases in Hudson, Red Hook and Stanfordville. Mileage reimbursement is available; valid NYS driver license with insurance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• No experience required; one year of related experience is preferred in caregiving or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Be empathetic and have a team approach to care for the individuals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor.
• Be able to attend mandatory trainings as needed.
• Pass all NYS and OPWDD background clearances.
• Valid NYS driver license with proper insurance coverage.

We’re looking for compassionate and motivated individuals to join our Community Habilitation program. As a Community Habilitation Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will work one-on-one with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities, providing support at home and in the community to help them build independence and life skills. E XPERIENCE:

• Working with Individuals that have IDD preferred but not required

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
