Hopewell Community Center is seeking a dedicated staff member to provide customer assistance and perform routine maintenance as part of the center’s daily operations. The role includes monitoring the gym and fitness rooms, enforcing center rules, and assisting with program setup.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with minimal experience, plus knowledge of gym equipment, CPR/first aid, and safety practices. Flexibility for event support is required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 6 months of experience required.
• Knowledge of exercise equipment, CPR/first aid, and emergency practices.

Aufgaben

• Monitor activities in the gymnasium and fitness rooms.
• Provide customer assistance to facility members, program participants, and guests.
• Enforce facility rules and policies; follows Recreation and Parks department policies.
• Inspect gym equipment and facilities for condition and safety; request repairs or replacements.
• Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning; set up programs and disinfect equipment.
• Keep storage areas neat and organized; complete daily cleaning checklist and inventory.
• Assist at department-wide events; oversee games, inflatables, crowd control, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
