Job summary

ICCU in Yakima, WA is seeking a Community Development Officer (Spanish Preferred) to lead the Community Development team and drive promotional and community events. You will be the face of ICCU in the community, build relationships, and coordinate with other departments to offer ICCU products and services.

Qualifications

• A valid Driver's License, as this is a driving position (a company vehicle is provided).
• Knowledge and experience in business and economic development.
• Independent and organizational skills.
• The ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Previous experience in marketing credit union products and services to outside companies and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Organizing promotional and community events and attending them to facilitate their success.
• Developing new relationships and strengthening existing relationships, both internally and externally, to strengthen ICCU's reputation within the community.
• Hitting monthly new member and referral goals.
• Managing multiple projects under pressure and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Partnering and coordinating with other departments to deliver the full range of ICCU's products and services.
• Creating a positive and upbeat sales culture while maintaining a flexible, adaptive vision for future modifications.
