Job summary

Village Media is seeking a Community Lead for Peoria to foster local engagement and drive commercial growth with a civic purpose. You’ll partner with local businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders, delivering advertising solutions and events that strengthen the local economy.

You’ll manage campaigns end-to-end, build relationships with diverse stakeholders, and represent Village Media at community gatherings and festivals, while delivering exceptional client care.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in digital advertising sales, business development, relationship management, or community organizing.
• Ability to interact with diverse local stakeholders including executives, business owners, and volunteers.
• Excellent public presentation and organizational skills; capable of executing professional events.

Responsibilities

• Foster vitality by partnering with local businesses/nonprofits to reach their goals via advertising and community services.
• Drive sales by identifying and converting new opportunities aligned with the mission.
• Participate in CARES initiatives and local community awards to strengthen engagement.
• Organize microevents and small gatherings to connect stakeholders and drive local growth.
• Oversee campaign delivery and serve as the primary contact for client care.
