Job summary

The Laramar Group LLC is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain outdoor and common areas at our properties. You will mow, edge, plant, and assist with irrigation, snow removal, and minor repairs to keep grounds safe and attractive for residents.

This role requires the ability to work independently or with a team, follow directions, and operate landscaping tools safely. A High School Diploma and 1 year of Groundskeeper experience are preferred; driving may be required and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-year Groundskeeper or related experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Proficient in using manual power tools safely.
• Position requires acceptable motor vehicle driving history, valid and appropriate vehicle insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Must consistently demonstrate quality customer service.
• Ability to work alone and with a team in a professional and efficient manner.
• Ensure all common areas are safe, clean, and presentable for staff and residents; this may include but is not limited to mowing/edging, shrub/tree maintenance, planting and ground cover, cleaning, and related tasks.
• Painting and maintaining infrastructure, such as walls or curbs, and furniture like pool chairs or benches.
• Snow removal and irrigation system installation/repairs.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians with repairs in units, as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and attend monthly safety meetings.
• Comply with federal and local Fair Housing regulations and ordinances.
• Willing to perform any additional duties assigned by supervisor.
