Job summary

Laramar in Denver, CO, is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain residential community grounds and amenities across properties. You will perform landscaping tasks, safety inspections, and assist with irrigation and facility upkeep to create a clean and welcoming environment for residents.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to follow directions, and experience with landscaping tools. Training and safety guidelines are provided; benefits include health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-year Groundskeeper or related experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Proficient in using manual power tools safely.
• Position requires acceptable motor vehicle driving history, valid and appropriate vehicle insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Must consistently demonstrate quality customer service.
• Ability to work alone and with a team in a professional and efficient manner.
• Ensure all common areas are safe, clean, and presentable; this may include mowing/edging, shrub/tree maintenance, planting and ground covers.
• Cleaning, including removal of trash.
• Painting and maintaining infrastructure, such as walls or curbs, and furniture such as pool chairs or benches.
• Snow removal.
• Install/repair irrigation systems; assist Maintenance Technicians with repairs in units as needed.
• Attend monthly safety meetings; follow OSHA guidelines; comply with Fair Housing regulations.
• Willing to perform any additional duties assigned by supervisor.

The Groundskeeper position performs daily community upkeep and maintenance tasks for at least one property. The Groundskeeper ensures all common areas are clean and trash free. These include but are not limited to, parking, breezeways, hallways, pool area, clubhouse, laundry rooms, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must consistently demonstrate quality customer service

• Ensure all common areas are safe, clean, and presentable for staff and residents; this may include but is not limited to:
• Mowing/edging
• Shrub/tree maintenance
• Planting/placing various plants and ground covers
• Cleaning, including removal of trash
• Painting and maintaining infrastructure, such as walls or curbs, and furniture, such as pool chairs or benches
• Snow removal
• Perform or assist with installation and repairs of irrigation systems
• Assist Maintenance Technicians with repairs in units, as needed
• Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and attend monthly safety meetings
• Comply with all federal and local Fair Housing regulations and ordinances
• Willing to perform any addition duties assigned by supervisor
