Job summary

Graduate School of Leadership and Change at Antioch University in Keene, NH seeks creative, collaborative students to co-coordinate local garden education and food justice initiatives. Roles support community garden sites and a campus garden, with work study or non-work study options.

Responsibilities include fostering site relationships, collaborating with nonprofits in the Monadnock Region, and designing educational workshops.

Qualifications

• Strong project management, organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-directed and motivated to move the project forward.
• Willing to learn new skills.
• Familiarity with gardening, food justice, environmental education, culturally responsive education, grant writing and/or evaluation experience preferred though not required.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with assigned CGC garden sites and assist at other sites where needed.
• Collaborate with local nonprofits and Monadnock Region organizations engaged in related work.
• Creatively pursue service projects that address community-identified interests and CGC’s mission.
• Design, implement and evaluate educational workshops aligned with your interests.
• Assist co‑coordinators in responsibilities and maintain garden beds as needed.
• Handle fiscal tasks including budget management, inventory and procurement of supplies.
