Job summary

Waste Pro, USA is seeking a dedicated refuse collection driver to operate assigned routes and supervise helpers on the team. You will drive safely, collect garbage, yard waste, and recyclables, and report on route performance.

Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring proper disposal, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and completing required reports. The position requires English communication skills and adherence to DOT and company safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT requirements.
• Normal hearing and vision with or without correction.
• Ability to manipulate heavy equipment controls.
• Follow written and oral instructions and routes.
• Speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives on pre-established route and dumps garbage.
• Provides courteous customer service to the public on route.
• Ensures proper pickup and transfer of refuse and recyclables.
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections on the truck.
• Maintains truck cleanliness and performs basic maintenance.
• Completes required reports and documents.
• Complies with DOT and state requirements for operators.
• May work during emergency situations.
