Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1–3 years of residential real estate experience preferred.
• Applicants must either possess an NMLS license or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under time constraints.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and community partners.
• In-depth knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA and VA product guidelines is expected.

Responsibilities

• Interviews applicants and requests information for mortgage loan applications.
• Serves as primary contact from application to closing; duties may include counseling and pre-qualifying buyers.
• Completes applications and collects required documents with fee and lock-in details.
• Ensures compliance with FNMA, FHLMC, VA, FHA, RESPA, TRID and HMDA regulations.
• Oversees loan process by monitoring status and coordinating with processor and underwriter.
