Job summary

Indera seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Community Habilitation in the Liverpool area for a young man with developmental disabilities. You will support daily activities, accompany him on outings, and help develop independent living skills.

Flexible, part-time role requiring reliable transportation. Prior experience is a plus; background checks will be performed by the nonprofit agency.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Effective communication and organizational skills required.
• Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
• Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
• Experience working with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide Community Habilitation services to a gentleman in Liverpool.
• Accompany and support him during community outings to pursue hobbies and interests.
• Help him gain independent living skills and provide transportation.
• Assist with daily activities and reinforce goals in home and community settings.
