Job summary

The ideal candidate will have basic education and reliable attendance, CPR/First Aid certification within six months, and the ability to obtain class certifications (Zumba, Yoga, Body Pump, etc.).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months related experience.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid/AED within six months of hire.
• Must obtain certifications for the specific fitness classes assigned (e.g., Zumba, Yoga).

Responsibilities

• Develops, promotes, teaches, and evaluates fitness-related classes.
• Keeps up-to-date rosters for classes.
• Keeps supervisor informed of work progress and potential problems.
• Monitors and maintains fitness area at the facility.
• Performs other related job duties as assigned.
